In August 2002, Sunlight washing powder was launched in sachets of 500g, 200g and 50g sizes. Sunlight washing powder is the first all natural formulated washing powder. It has grown and has built on the pure, mild heritage of the bar.

Fabric care
As a general guide, for fabrics made from a blend or mixture of fibres, use the recommended treatment as some fabrics may be sensitive.
Cotton can be easily laundered. It can withstand high temperatures. Use Sunlight Gentle washing powder in all washing of cotton garments. Many coloured cottons are non-colourfast so wash them separately when new. It's also best to go on washing dark and light coloured items separately. Permanent press cottons should be squeezed only lightly during washing and rinsed thoroughly. Cotton is weakened and may be destroyed by contact with acids - even mild ones like fruit juice - if left for long periods. Wash out any staining immediately. Although you can usually use a chlorine bleach, check the garment label first. Follow the instructions on the bottle as too high a concentration may cause yellowing. Cotton can be ironed with a hot iron, and does not scorch easily
